RE: Revision to Vehicle Rules and Regulations
It has come to the attention of the Policy Review Committee that Item H. on page 10 and 11 of the Vehicle Rules and Regulations only notes a fines amount in paragraph 3 concerning Recreational Vehicles, and does not state fine amounts in paragraph 5 for Primary Transportation Vehicles. We propose the revision of this policy by adding The line as noted on the attached copy of page 10-11. Note that the underlined sentences are currently in the wording. The bold/italics are the proposed addition.
It is our recommendation to approve the proposed addition to prevent any question concerning the ability to fine or the amount of the fine, of violations involving Primary Transportation.
RE: Other Policy Review Committee Items:
1) The PRC notes there are currently no fines for violations of the Pool Rules.
Does the Board wish to create fines or leave this item "as-is''?
2) The Family Bar Code Proposal was approved on February 23, 2009, motion
# 09-02-30. The PRC feels that a written policy should be created for reference, but
awaits Board direction.
The committee is currently working on wording for "Member in Good Standing" to submit for vote at the next Annual Meeting to be included in the LPOA Code of Rules and Regulations. We hope to have this ready for Board consideration sometime next month.
Also, the newly approved Mailbox Replacement Policy should be put in your manuals Under Title 5, Membership Relations, as Chapter 520, immediately following the Fire Pit Policy and before the Vehicle Rules and Regulations.
The next meeting of the Policy Review Committee will be May 5th at 7:30 pm at the LWA meeting room.
