Dear Lakengren Member:
Lakengren Waste Management will begin trash pick-up June 1, 2010. A map showing the regular pick-up, non-holiday schedule is enclosed. Regular trash pick-up will be Monday through Thursday. Trash must be set out by the road by 6:00a.m. On the day of your scheduled collection.
Trash will not be picked up on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, & New Year’s Day. Weeks affected by observed holidays will move trash collection one day farther in the week. For example, the first week of operation is affected by Memorial Day, May 31, 2010. All Monday pick-ups will be moved to Tuesday. All Tuesday pick-ups will be collected on Wednesday. All Wednesday pick-ups will be on Thursday~ with all Thursday pick-ups moved to Friday.
Trash service will be billed quarterly @ $50.00 per quarter. The first bill is included in this mailing and is due on or before June 1, 2010. Homeowners may prepay an entire year and receive a 5% discount Part-Time Residents & Snow Birds May Skip UP TO One Quarter Per Year With Approval Upon Written Request Submitted To The Lakengren Office @ 22 W. Lakengren Drive. A Lakengren Member will be considered a member not in good standing if they do not pay their trash bill.
Each house will be provided with one 96-gallon, two-wheeled trashcan. Additional cans may be purchased through the Lakengren Office. Requests may be made for a 64-gallon trashcan instead of the 96-gallon can by contacting the Lakengren Office. These cans are limited and will be available on a first-come basis.
Members with special needs and part-time residents may complete the enclosed form to have up to two trashcan(s) collected and returned to the front of the garage or residence. Only elderly members, members with special needs (handicapped), and part-time residents will be considered for this service. All members of the household must meet the criteria.

All Grass, Leaves, & Brush Should Be Brought To The Maintenance Area. If Unable To Do This, All Grass, Leaves, & Brush Must Be Bagged Or Tied/Bundled For Pick-Up.
Collection Of Four Car Tires Per Year Per House — Additional Tires Will Be Collected @ $2.00 Per Tire
On The Third Friday Of Each Month, L.W.M. Will Collect Five Gallons Of Paint Per Year Per
House & Large Items Such As Furniture & Appliances. Members Must Contact The Lakengren
Office & Request Pick-Up. A $25M0 Char8e Will Apply For Refrigerators.
