Many Thanks to Andrew Gaydosh & Assoc. and all the other sponsors for the wonderful fireworks on the 4th of July. Also Thanks to Drake Heating and their sponsors for the great evening at the Drake Fest. Even though there was open gate our security team kept everyone in place and in control. Thanks to all of them.
We must never take all the sponsors for granted as they give back to Lakengren. They do not have to do this and these two events cost a lot of money. So please everyone support all the sponsors as these are two events everyone enjoys and it does not cost us a cent.
Dan and I had a party on Sept. 6th at our home. Around 90-100 friends attended and we would like to thank them all. For entertainment we had Garcia &
Scott. They have so much talent and wonderful personalities. Their music is so enjoyable to listen to. A sound all of their own. If you would like to see Dalia & Gary again or for the first time, you can go to Little Sheba's in Richmond and hear them perform on Oct. 9, 2009. Great Food, Low price, Good entertainment.
The Friends for the Walking Path will be having another quarter auction on Nov 1, 2009 at the lodge from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Everyone who attended the last time had so much fun and requested we have another one. All proceeds will go towards the fund for new playground equipment. We are trying to get enough money in our fund to purchase some new playground equipment such as a new slide or something else. Playground equipment is very expensive and it
will take us more fundraiser's to get enough money. So all of you mom's, dad's ,grandma's, and grandpa's come and get that unexpected bargain to have for a
Christmas gift and be giving to the fund to get your children new playground equipment for their fun and their safety. See you there
