Gasper Township District 2 Voters Issues For The Drive Thru
PART 3: Shall the Lakengren Board of Trustees proceed with the construction and operation of a neighborhood convenience store, Lakengren Retail Sales, LLC dba L.R.S., LLC. on Lakengren Lot #1 – 11 West Lakengren Drive to sell beer, wine and other sundries should the results of the November 3, 2009 election reverse Gasper Township District #2’s current Dry status to Wet, and be authorized to borrow up to $100,000 for the project?
A yes vote on this issue will authorize the LPOA Board to continue exploring the drive-thru project and authorize the board to construct and operate a drive-thru if they deem it a viable option. This would also authorize the Board to borrow up to $100,000 for the project if they deem it a viable option. A no vote would end the drive-thru project.
PART 4: Shall the Sunday sales of wine and beer by L.R.S., LLC be permitted should part 3 of this ballot pass?
This part only applies if part 3 passes. A yes vote would approve the sale of wine and beer at the drive-thru on Sunday. A no vote would be to prohibit the Sunday sale of wine and beer. Thus, if part 3 passes, the drive-thru could be built and could sell beer and wine, but if part 4 does not pass then the sale of beer and wine would permitted only Monday through Saturday.
